Just a quick note to tell you about the movie Step Up. Although the guy’s acting leaves a bit to be desired, the dancing is great. It’s a mix of cultures and dance – ballet and streets, and the dance sequences are great. The story is a little predictable, but still a nice romance, if you like that sort of thing (I do) and the finale is worth the price of the movie. Heard people on the way out say "let’s see it again". My sentiments exactly.
Some sad news – I was out garage saleing and they had one at Shady Rest, where Mum and Dad used to live. I noticed an "Office" sign on one of the units down the road, and asked one of the neighbours what was going on. She said Mike, the manager of the park for over thirty years, passed away this morning. He wasn’t good the last time I spoke with him, so I wasn’t surprised, but it’s always sad when someone you’ve known forever passes away. They think the funeral is next weekend, so I’ll try to attend. No point in worrying about telling Mum because she wouldn’t have a clue who Mike was. Sad.
